Why Should I Create A United Beauty Account?

Creating an account with us is easy- simply enter your email address and create a password! Having an account will allow us to send you updates about popular, new products and send you notifications when out of stock items are available to purchase again. It will also mean that you will be able to view your past orders and create “Wishlists” of all your favourite items! At United Beauty we do NOT save your payment information, so you don’t have to worry about the safety of your details!

I Can't Find What I'm Looking For... How Do I Search For A Product?

Not to worry! Hopefully these simple tips will help you to find what you’re looking for… 

I Know What I Want…

If you know what you’re looking for, one of the easiest way to find it is to use the ‘Search’ box – it is at the top of every page (next to your shopping trolley!). Simply type the title of what you are looking for into the box and click ‘Search’. If you don’t find what you want straight away, here are a few tips:

  • Keep it simple – you’ll find that the best results are often obtained if you enter just one or two specific words and avoid using common words.
  • Don’t worry about punctuation – it is not necessary when searching
  • Try a different search category – if you know the name of a range or collection, i.e. GelTouch or Cashmere, try using this to find a specific product within that product group.

Sit Back and Surf…

Searching is not the only way to find what your looking for – browsing the site is also an option. The main areas of the site are shown at the top of every page in the navigation bar. To browse between different product groups, click on the department in the drop down menus and just browse! Surfing the site will increase your chances of stumbling across new products that you love!

What Shipping Methods Are Available?

All orders are sent via standard Royal Mail and should take between 3-5 days to be delivered. We currently only ship within the United Kingdom, but are working to expand our delivery options so keep an eye out for updates!

Do You Ship Internationally?

We’re working on it, but online orders are currently for UK residents only. We will be offering worldwide delivery in due course though, so keep a look out for updates!

How Much Does Delivery Cost?

Delivery is free on all orders above £50

Orders less than £50.00 will be sent by Royal Mail post which usually takes between 3-5 working days. A flat rate shipping charge of £3.50 will be applied.

How Long Will It Take For My Package To Arrive?

All packages are sent via the Royal Mail and should arrive within 3-5 working days. If you have any questions about your order, don’t hesitate to give us a call!

What Payment Methods Are Accepted?

We accept all major credit/debit cards – VISA, Mastercard, JCB, Maestro, Solo, American Express & Electron. (We do not store any of your credit card information).

We’ve also introduced payment via Paypal! Now it’s even easier to place your order, quickly and safely! 

*All prices are shown in Great British Pounds (GBP£). We are not able to dispatch any products until payment has been received in full. 

Is My Payment Information Safe?

Yes! Your safety is of the utmost important to us, which is why we use Barclays Securecard trading – a platform that uses the latest security measures to keep your details safe and sound when you shop with us!

ORDERS & TRACKING

Do I Need An Account To Place An Order?

No, you don’t need to register with an account- you can checkout as a guest if you’re in a rush. But creating an account is easy, takes only a few minutes and means that you can save your favourite products into “Wishlists” and leave comments!

How Can I Track My Order?

At the moment, we send all packages via Royal Mail (more delivery options coming soon!). You won’t receive a tracking number for your order, however, you should expect to receive your purchase within 3-5 working days. If your order is taking longer than expected to arrive, just give us a call and we will see what we can do to help.

Can I Change An Order After I've Paid?

Before you make a payment, you will be asked to review your order to confirm that you have selected everything you want and are happy to make the purchase. Once the payment has gone through, you will not be able to change or alter your order in any way. However, if you are unhappy, please feel free to give us a call and one of our customer service representatives will be happy to help you.

A Product I Want To Order Is Out Of Stock...

We try to make sure all of our items are in stock and available at all times, but sometimes it’s products are flying out the door quicker than we can get them in! If a product you are looking for is currently out of stock, you will be notified before you check out and given the option to either purchase the product right away (and have it sent out as soon as we get it in) or receive an email reminder to notify you when it’s back (please register with an account to receive a notification). 

I Need Help Placing My Order & Checking Out...

Ordering products from us couldn’t be easier! We’ve designed our site to be as simple to use as possible, but just in case you’re stuck, we’ve outlined a few quick tips to get you going.

1)Fill Your Basket With All Your Favs! 

When you find an item you want to purchase, click the ‘Add’ to basket button. The item will be added to your ‘Shopping Basket’ – you will see an image of this on the top, right corner of your screen. As more items get added to your basket the number of items and the total cost of your order (excluding delivery) will change.

2) Ready to Buy? Head To The Checkout! 

When you have filled your basket and you are ready to buy, click the ‘Checkout’ button in the Shopping Basket.

3) Make It Yours In The Click of A Button! 

After the checkout process we will ask you to confirm your order, once you have checked your order details, your payment details and your delivery details – click on ‘Order now’ and you will have completed your purchase. This will take you to our ‘Order Receipt Page’, you can print this page, however a copy of this will be emailed to your specified email address.

CANCELLATIONS & RETURNS

I Received A Faulty/Damaged Product...What Should I Do?

Firstly, we’re sorry to hear that your order was damaged or faulty in any way! We enforce strict quality control measures to ensure that when your products leave our door they are in tip top condition. However, we are only human and mistakes do happen. So, if for any reason, you receive a product that is damaged or faulty in any way, please follow these steps: 

  1. Give Us A Call! Product returns might be down to damage during shipping, manufacturing error (very rare!) or misuse of the product, but whatever the reason may be, we need to get to the root of the problem so that these types of mistakes don’t happen again.
  2. Sometimes issues are simply down to mistakes made during the application of a product. Instructions are easily misunderstood, but each product has specific instructions for use which must be followed precisely in order for the product to work correctly. Whenever you have a problem, please give us a ring straight away and we will walk you through all the steps to ensure that you haven’t missed anything. (Make sure you watch our “How-To Video Tutorials” as well for extra tips!)
  3. Our Customer Service representatives will instruct you to send the faulty item/s to our Returns Department for further assessment.
  4. If the product is faulty, you will qualify for a refund or exchange (please let us know which you would prefer). We will then process a refund/exchange as quickly as possible and you will receive an email to notify you when this has been processed.

You should return your item/s to us using Royal Mail Special Delivery or a similar recorded/ tracked service. This way the delivery is insured and traceable. You should also keep hold of your receipt for proof of postage.

With your order you will receive an invoice, please include this with your return as this will enable a quick and easy refund/exchange transaction. We would really appreciate if you could also include a brief note describing what was wrong with your item and whether you would like a refund or exchange.

*Please note that customers are responsible for postage costs of Returned Damaged Goods. You will be reimbursed for the cost of the product and returns postage if the item/s is deemed faulty.

**You must notify us of any issues within 14 days of delivery of goods. 

Returning Damaged Items..?

We’re sorry you’ve received a damaged or faulty product, but let us help! Please return the item to us your product so that we can assess what’s gone wrong and send out a replacement or refund ASAP. Also, please don’t hesitate to give us a call!

Can I Return Used Items?

At United Beauty we make every effort to describe and display every product as realistically as possible. Whilst we also understand that sometimes the items that you receive might not quite meet match your expectations, we cannot refund or exchange any items that have been opened.

Opened items present a Health & Safety risk and because we sell cosmetic products, we have to be extremely cautious about any products that may present a Health & Safety risk to our customers. Because some of the items that we sell online (such as our Attitude Nail Polishes) do not have kind of outer packaging, it would be nearly impossible for us to tell if the product had been opened, tried and contaminated. So, if you have opened or used your product, you will not be able to return it. Sorry, but this rule is for your own protection!
